GARRONE joined us

GARRONE: this is the name of a famous Vermouth created in Turin in 1991. The word Vermouth is the Francitazion of a German word that indicated wine spiced with absinthe. This drink has always been present in Europe, and the first known descriptions comes from the time of the Roman Empire. The speciality came back to life in Piedmont, in the second half of the 19th century, where it was served not only in the homes of the nobles with ice and a slice of orange, but also to the lower class in taverns. Garrone did not re-invent anything but brought back to life what existed in his family tradition. Making it good and successful. Today the company also produces several types of “Liquori”: like Limoncello, Orangello, Sambuca, Spritz, Bitter and of course Amaretto.
