Two wines from the prestigious winery have obtained two high scores.
Wine Enthusiast awarded 94 points to Moratti Rosé Brut Nature 2013 and 93 points to Moratti Cuvée dell’Angelo Pas Dosé 2013.
Moratti Rosé Brut Nature comes from the highest part of the Pinot noir vineyard of Cigognola’s hill. It is a wine of elegant pink colour with reflections between raspberry and salmon. Bouquet is extraordinarly freshness which stands on a wide variability of little red fruits: raspberry, strawberry, cherry and currant. Large taste of ripe fruits.
Moratti Cuvée dell’Angelo Pas Dosé comes from the selection of some of the best Pinot Noir vineyards on the north-west side of the Cigognola hill. It is a Pas Dosé wine: the possible addition of sugar after disgorging. It has great elegance and a fine perlage, favored by the ripening of the grapes. It is persistent and expresses both the smell and the taste the rightly ripe expression of the fruit: well balanced between fullness and freshness.
